Unique Design for Clean and Dirty Flows

McCrometer has set the standard for propeller flowmeter technology in the agricultural and turf markets since 1955. Its uniquely-designed Mc Propeller line offers an economical and versatile flow measurement solution for a wide range of water applications, and is especially suited to dirty water flows.

Unlike traditional propeller meters, the Mc Propeller uses a flexible drive-train and sealed ball bearings, making it more easily serviceable in the field and lowering maintenance costs. Plus, there are no tight tolerances in the Mc Propeller, so it can handle solids suspended in water without clogging. Measurement accuracy is +/- 2% and repeatability is +/- 0.25%.

Applications for the Mc Propeller include agricultural and turf irrigation, HVAC, marine systems, and municipal water and wastewater. Because of its high accuracy, this flowmeter can also be used as a water management tool, helping to reduce water costs, preventing over-irrigation and reducing leaching of chemicals and fertilizers into the ground.
